Kent Engineering | Architectural Diagnostics is looking for an Architect for their Seattle
Responsibilities
- Serve as Architectural Consultant
- Conduct multi-family residential/commercial remediation-investigations.
- Investigate/assess damages due to catastrophes or normal environmental conditions (storm damage, hurricanes, floods, marine environment.)
- Research technical publications and literature in support of evaluations.
- Apply architectural principles and practices in accordance with codes and industry standards.
- Prepare Architectural reports stating cause and origin of damage to clients.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Write proposals.
- Write scopes of repair
- Communicate project updates and timelines to staff and clients.
- Travel locally and nationally on occasion.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture
- 5 years of architectural experience (10 or more years preferred)
- Registered Architect license in Hawaii
- Experience with premises and walking surface investigations, including product defect.
- Ability to inspect homes, roofs and crawlspaces.
- Working knowledge of building structures and the construction process
- Experience writing technical reports.
- Project management experience
