Field Tech- Equipment Operator is responsible for operating sweepers, floors scrubbers, pressure washers, industrial vacuums among other equipment as required to complete the job efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Must be able to carry up to 40lbs using proper OSHA lifting procedures
- Load and unload equipment from vehicles and transport it accordingly
- Must be able to safely drive and maneuver heavy equipment
- Monitor equipment performance and adjust according as required to finish the task
- Track the Preventative Maintenance schedule for the equipment and notify supervisors of any abnormalities or due dates.
- Report equipment problems with detail information, such as but not limited to, where and when machinery was last used.
- Clean equipment after each used and dispose of any collected scrap and/or waste.
- Perform minor repairs as needed.
- Able to remain focused, concentrated and aware of their surroundings despite multiple distractions.
- Able to critically thing and work under pressure
- Able to meet strict deadlines and schedules
- Flexible and adaptable to work conditions varying by site, schedules changes and weather conditions.

- Ability to remain stationary in the seat or operating area of the equipment for prolonged periods
- Problem-solving skills to diagnose issues with equipment
- Strong oral communication skills to interact with other workers on the jobsite
- Basic writing skills to accurately complete reports and other paperwork
- Good noncommercial driver’s license history to indicate a habit of safe driving
- Ability to obtain Forklift Certification
- Ability to multitask
- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability to work with little or no supervision.
- Ability to work weekends
