Baby Apparel and Home Goods company with a focus on growth is looking for a young, aggressive sales person who believes in themselves and wants to make a lot of money. The Company does about $100M selling primarily to the off-price channel (TJX/Marmaxx, Ross and Burlington), and we want to add to their Sales team top. Must have a strong work ethic, be driven and love to sell. Position is salary plus commission.
Key Responsibilities:
- Must open up new customers/distribution channels for the company while increasing business with designated customers (if applicable).
- Finding and hands on selling to new major accounts.
- Spearhead the development, communication and implementation of effective growth strategies and processes, as well as develop and achieve key KPI’s for continued company growth
- Partner with product development as it relates to new products for key customers.
- Work cross functionally across the organization to make sure all key accounts get what they need and the internal team is updated on everything.
- Manage your business entrepreneurially and with an understanding of the company’s resources.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 to 2 years of sales experience in consumer products (wholesale selling to brick and mortar retailers (ex. Ross, Burlington or Macy’s).
- Experience selling to department stores and the off price channel is preferred.
- A great attitude, sales mentality and skills and the ability to build a business.
- Maintains a sense of urgency to increase sales and open up new distribution channels/customers.
- Must reside in the NY Metro area and be able to work in the NYC office 5 days a week.
- Bachelor’s Degree or work equivalent.
- Great follow up and follow through skills.
