About Our Client
James Search Group is partnering with a leading Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance carrier that is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead technology-driven claims and reinsurance transformation projects. This is a high-impact role within a growing organization that values innovation, efficiency, and operational excellence.
About the Role
As a Project Manager, you will oversee end-to-end project execution for key technology, claims, and reinsurance transformation initiatives. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including IT, underwriting, claims, finance, and external vendors to ensure the successful delivery of strategic projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage full project lifecycle from initiation to implementation for technology, claims, and reinsurance transformation projects
- Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables
- Oversee project governance, including budgeting, resource allocation, risk management, and reporting
- Ensure projects align with business goals and compliance requirements
- Work with third-party vendors and system integrators to drive technology enhancements
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, status reports, and executive summaries
- Identify and mitigate project risks while ensuring stakeholder engagement and buy-in
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of project management experience in the P&C insurance industry
- Experience leading technology-driven initiatives related to claims transformation, reinsurance, or underwriting systems
- Strong understanding of insurance operations, regulatory requirements, and best practices
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Hands-on experience with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies
- Proficiency in project management tools (JIRA, Microsoft Project, Asana, etc.)
- PMP, CSM, or other relevant certifications a plus
