We are currently working with a CPG who is looking to add a Director to lead out the technical strategy for their enterprise Data team. This role will need a candidate who has experience with data integration across many data sources, data lake architecture, all the way to delivery of data products and advanced analytics capabilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Define and implement a modern data strategy aligned with business goals, emphasizing data as a product, democratization, and self-service analytics.
  • Identify and assess emerging technologies, data sources, and analytics methodologies to enhance business processes, data quality, and governance.
  • Provide expertise in designing a scalable and secure data infrastructure that supports analytics, machine learning, and business intelligence, while integrating with existing systems and cloud platforms.
  • Establish and oversee a robust data governance framework, setting policies, standards, and procedures to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • 10 years of professional experience in Data & Analytics focused roles with experience holding a Director title
  • Industry experience working for a large CPG or Beverage Alcohol business required
  • Technical experience with Google Cloud Platform, Apache Spark, Data Lake Architecture, BI Tools, and Data Science and/or AI/ML products.
  • Deep understanding on how to implement data governance frameworks and data quality management.
  • Preferred experience with Revenue Growth Management or Commercial initiatives within a CPG business.
