ProteQ is seeking a full time Executive Assistant to provide multi-faceted administrative support and assistance to ensure effective use of an executive's time and productive interactions with staff and the public, in support of a Government client as a support contractor.
Responsibilities
- Handle various administrative tasks simultaneously requiring prioritization.
- Handle wide range of administrative tasks and independently initiate and implement processes to manage projects and information.
- Conduct research and information gathering on behalf of the executive and prepare summaries.
- Coordinate travel and event attendance.
- Manage presentations.
- Coordinate and schedule on- and off-site meetings.
- Track priorities and to-do items.
- Prepare correspondence, agendas and reports.
- Proactive calendar management.
- Develop positive and strategic relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Use discretion, judgement, and knowledge of the organization to facilitate the executive's activities and maintain confidentiality.
- Other responsibilities as assigned.
- Must have ability to obtain a Secret Clearance prior to start date to be considered.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 5 years administrative experience.
- Ability to prioritize deadlines, stay poised under pressure and multi-task with a high volume of work.
- Expert understanding of Information Systems and MS Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Work, PowerPoint).
- Must be self-motivated, resourceful, and reliable with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team environment.
- Strong writing and typing skills.
- Superb communication and presentation skills.
- Active Secret Clearance
- Bachelor's Degree from a fully accredited university preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze problems and suggest appropriate solutions.
- Outstanding project management and organizational skills.
- Attention to detail.
