Title: Data Science Manager
Salary: $135,000-150,000 + 10% Bonus
Location: Downers Grove, IL (3 days/week)

Here is an exciting opportunity to join a global ecommerce organization, who is growing out their Pricing Analytics & Competitive Intelligence division. The ideal candidate has an Advanced Analytics or Data Science background, who can leverage these techniques to drive pricing strategies, market competitiveness, to push the business forward. This position will have a blend of people leadership, data analysis, and market research.
Key Requirements:
- 6+ years of experience in Advanced Analytics, Data Science, and/or Pricing Analytics focused roles.
- Extensive experience working with Python, SQL, R, ideally used to develop pricing models, but experiences using these tools for supply chain, marketing, or operations use cases are also open to consideration.
- Experience wrangling and bringing meaningful insights from large, messy, and complex data sets.
- Industry experience working within a Retail, Ecommerce, or Marketplace business.
- Experience mentoring and managing a team of direct reports for at least 2+ years.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a growing Data Analytics team of 2-4 individual contributors.
- Develop data-driven pricing strategies that consider market conditions, competitive pricing landscape, and consumer purchasing behavior.
- Analyze very large data sets, build pricing & forecasting models.
- Work cross functionally across finance, marketing, and product divisions.
