- Design water distribution, wastewater collection, and stormwater management systems.
- Perform calculations for system sizing, pump stations, and hydraulic modeling.
- Prepare plans, specifications, and technical reports.
- Handle permitting processes with local regulatory agencies.
- Coordinate with utilities, contractors, and property owners.
- Oversee project deliverables, stakeholder communication, and administrative tasks.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
- 3+ years of experience in water/wastewater/stormwater design (5-10 years preferred).
- Experience in municipal roadway geometric design is a plus.
- Knowledge of Cook County DOTH, MWRD permitting, and IDOT Standard Specs.
- Proficiency in software such as AutoCAD, Bentley CAD, WaterCAD, SewerCAD, XPSWMM, ArcGIS, and Excel.
- Illinois F.E. licensure required; Illinois P.E. preferred (or ability to obtain within 12 months).
- Must possess a valid IL driver's license.
- Must be located in the Chicago Metropolitan area.
