Full-Time Residential Coordinator

The Supported Living Services (SLS) Department serves 130 individuals, supporting them to live more independently and to reach their life goals and dreams.

The Residential Coordinator provides team member supervision, training, support, leadership, employee relationship building, caseload coordination, quality assurance, and program development. The position oversees and provides client-centered services and acts as a liaison with clients, guardians, county personnel, and other affiliates.

Qualifications

  • a bachelor's degree in a field related to human services, education, or health and one year of full-time work experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities or persons age 65 and older, or equivalent work experience providing care or education to vulnerable adults or children;

OR

  • an associate degree in a field related to human services, education, or health and two years of full-time work experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities or persons age 65 and older, or equivalent work experience providing care or education to vulnerable adults or children;

OR

  • a diploma in a field related to human services, education, or health from an accredited postsecondary institution and three years of full-time work experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities or persons age 65 and older or equivalent work experience providing care or education to vulnerable adults or children;

OR

  • a minimum of 50 hours of education and training related to human services and

disabilities; AND four years of full-time work experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities or persons age 65 and older under the supervision of a staff person who meets the qualifications identified in clauses (1) to (3).

Supervision experience preferred. Must have the ability to demonstrate leadership skills. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and documentation skills necessary. The ability to maintain neat and accurate records is required. Must have the ability to implement and maintain organizational systems. Must positively work with all team members, families, and professionals in the community. Must exhibit a high level of initiative, be self-motivated, anticipate needs and be able to positively adapt to change. Must have computer skills and familiarity with a variety of software applications including Microsoft Office.

  • 40 hours per week
  • Flexible Monday-Friday 8 A.M.-5 P.M.
