This role requires at least some experience in family law matters, as approximately 50% of our cases involve family law litigation. The ideal candidate will effectively handle legal document preparation, administrative tasks, scheduling, and general office support in a hybrid role.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Family Law Support:
  • Drafting and assisting with the preparation of financial affidavits, legal documents, and correspondence related to divorce and family law litigation.
  • Managing and organizing case files, discovery, exhibits, and court documents.
  • Administrative Tasks:
  • Coordinating calendars, scheduling meetings, depositions, mediations, and court appearances.
  • Handling phone calls, emails, and client communications professionally and efficiently.
  • General Support:
  • Assisting professionals with data entry, document review, and report formatting.
  • Maintaining organization of digital files, utilizing Microsoft Office Suite and document management software effectively.

Qualifications:

  • Experience as a paralegal, legal assistant, or administrative assistant, preferably within a family law firm or forensic accounting environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel), Adobe Acrobat, and document management software.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain accuracy under pressure.
  • Strong organizational skills, discretion, and the ability to handle confidential information with care.
