  • Remains energetic and active at all times and is innovative when participants are idle, restless, or unwilling to participate.
  • Handles responsibilities competently and thoroughly and lends assistance.
  • Ensures good public relations and responsiveness to the participants and citizens of Rockville.
  • Notifies the director of unusual situations involving injuries, accidents, or emergencies with participants or staff.

Knowledge of specified activities and ability to develop a lesson plan for respective age groups. Possess good communication skills; ability to exercise independent judgment; CPR, First Aid, and AED may be required (training is available and free of cost if needed).
