Position Overview
The primary responsibility of this position is to assist the Third-Party Recovery unit by responding to the beneficiary, state partners, legislative and provider inquiries via phone, mail, and e-mail.
Job Specific Responsibilities
High school or General Educational Development (GED) diploma and one year of administrative
experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

- Performing quality assurance reviews of vendor invoices
- Preparing Cost Avoidance Quarterly Reports
- Adding new Carrier Codes to NC Tracks
- Monitoring health plan performance of Third-Party Liability Activities
- Demonstrated skills providing timely and courteous customer service over the telephone, mail, and email in an office environment.
- Proven ability to use general office equipment such as a fax, printer, copier/scanner, and computer.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to compose clear error free letters and other communications
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Proven ability to research and analyze data and informationÂ
- Experience generating reports
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
- One year of administrative support experience in a health care setting
- Previous experience with NC Tracks
