Our client, a world leader in consumer electronics, is seeking an "Engineering Program Specialist (EPS)" to lead Configuration Management, Bill of Materials (BOMs), documentation, build planning, and vendor management for key technologies. The EPS will also support process improvement initiatives and team development. The ideal candidate is a strategic problem solver, organized, detail-oriented, and can work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Job Duration: 6+ Months (Possibility of Further Extension)
Location: Culver City / Cupertino, CA
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate projects, including implementing Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tools.
- Create, process, and expedite Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) and Manufacturer Change Orders (MCOs).
- Maintain and manage BOMs, AMLs, and part numbers across multiple projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for accurate BOM planning and documentation.
- Manage development distribution units for all build phases and perform risk analysis.
- Support DRP in Nimbus and handle multiple projects concurrently.
Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, configuration management, and multi-level BOM structures.
- Experience with PLM tools (Agile, TeamCenter preferred) and proficiency in MS Excel.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
- Ability to manage large data sets accurately and efficiently.
