About The Role

As a FPGA Validation Engineer Intern within our Platform Engineering team, you’ll work alongside some of the brightest minds in the industry, creating cutting-edge custom logic solutions that enable a smarter and more connected world. In this role you may have an opportunity to:

  • Validate high-speed IO subsystem (PCIe, DDR memory interfaces, IO buffers, PLLs, Clocking circuits etc.) at IP block and system level.
  • Define and creates validation test plans for both functional and electrical validation.
  • Develop test content, scripts and verify it on emulator.
  • Bring up and debug functionality and performance on silicon working with cross functional partners.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor within the US market. Actual salary may vary based on a number of factors including job location, job-related knowledge, skills, experiences, trainings, etc. We also offer incentive opportunities that reward employees based on individual and company performance.

What We Want to See:

  • Pursuing a Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related fields

Ways To Stand Out From The Crowd

  • Knowledge or projects on system logic, computer architecture and PC's component and ecosystem
  • Programming skills in python
  • Course work or projects on CMOS circuit design, Semiconductor device physics, Verilog/VHDL
  • Experience in Altera QII
  • Hands-on experience using lab test equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers and bench equipment
  • Communication, interpersonal and conflicts resolution skills
  • Quantitative, analytical and problem solving that aids in debug and data analysis
