Position Overview

Rocky Mountain Custom Landscape is seeking organized, detail-oriented, and experienced individuals to join our team as Project Coordinators. The Project Coordinator supports and manages the detailed daily Aspire management to keep construction projects on schedule, on budget and accurately reported. Assists with estimating input and pricing required for implementation after the project has been awarded in Aspire. Will support Project Managers in all administrative aspects of the construction process in Aspire.

Responsibilities

Project Management Support

  • Keep project documents organized, correct and complete in Aspire; distribute documentation as needed to the field in digital formats
  • Read plans and become familiar with project contract documents, plans, details, and specifications
  • Assist in purchase receipts in the system
  • Compile, submit, and track submittals and other record documents
  • Assist the project manager with earned revenue tracking and work ticket management
  • Assist in updating project schedules in Aspire
  • Communicate verbally and via email with project managers and general contractors, sub-contractors and vendors regarding pricing, submittals, and other related business.
  • Assist with the review of timekeeping for project staff and accurate job costing
  • Safety reporting
  • Other documentation as required

Accounting Support

  • Works with Project Manager to ensure good decisions for the company and project during purchasing and inventory management
  • Addresses scheduling of equipment and labor
  • Manages purchase receipt and aligns with estimating by work ticket
  • Act as the intermediary between accounting and operations on reporting and tracking active projects
  • Accurately measures and reports earned revenue according to project activities
  • Measures over/under figures on the project and oversees reporting
  • Advised project managers on improving margins
  • Understands contract documents and identifies gaps in the systems

Exeprience

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in Construction Science, Landscape Management, Accounting or related field, preferred
  • Previous experience with Viewpoint or other construction related systems (Required)
  • Valid Driver’s License in good standing (Required)
  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Strong communication, multi-tasking, and organization skills
  • Proven experience in providing high quality customer service
