- Previous quality engineering experience in developing and reviewing quality standards, methods, work instructions and procedures for the development of manufactured and procured product.
- Expert in interpreting drawings and specifications to develop and apply quality test and inspection methods and able to translate into work instructions.
- Expert ability in using causal analysis tools to analyze and resolve technical/process issues varying from basic to very complex.
- Expert with control and disposition of non-conforming products.
- Experience in establishing Performance Metrics for identifying process improvement. Lean / Six Sigma Green Belt Training
- Advanced skill level with Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
- Effective Communication and presentation Skills: Written, Oral, Listening, Technical Writing.
- Effective interpersonal skills, including Team building and Collaboration.
- Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access. Desired Skills: -STEM degree at Bachelors level or higher preferred.
- Expert with verification and validation of test equipment, test software, and/or systems.
- Extensive experience in Circuit Card Assembly, Wire Harness, and Sub-Assemblies manufacturing including in-depth familiarity with manufacturing standards such as J-STD-001, IPC-610/620 and various MIL-STD workmanship and acceptance specifications.
- Knowledge of Configuration and Data Management.
- Lean / Six Sigma Black Belt Training
- Experience with use of inspection gages and measuring equipment.
- Thorough understanding of AS9100 and ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems
- Experience with Electronic Standards - IPC-A-610, IPC-A-620, J-STD-001, etc.
