Job Title: Associate Business AnalystJob Description
This role supports informed decision-making within the business unit by conducting basic operational analyses under the guidance of a Senior Business Analyst, Business Analyst I, or immediate supervisor. The position involves managing small to medium special projects, conducting quantitative and qualitative research, designing and modifying processes, and developing reports. The candidate will utilize standardized tools and techniques.
Responsibilities
Execute end-of-day recaps, reports, and trade entries into SOX applications.
Verify positions and monitor daily risk measures, such as Value at Risk.
Reconcile broker and external statements associated with transactions.
Provide management with daily profit and loss reports, as well as pricing information.
Handle electronic funds sources and other clearing transactions.
Collaborate with the IT team to support trade capture platform development and execution.
Develop ad-hoc reports using SQL and Power BI.
Automate Excel-based ad-hoc reports using macros, as needed.
