Location: Brooklyn, NY 11234 Facility Address: 3131 Kings Highway, Brooklyn, NY 11234 Shift: Monday – Friday, 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM (Training: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM) Hours per Week: 40
Job Details: Perform CT procedures per prescribed protocols to ensure accuracy and uniformity. Utilize appropriate kV and mA techniques for quality diagnostic CT images. Conduct daily quality control calibration checks on equipment before patient studies. Administer radioactive material following physician orders and protocols. Maintain and retrieve patient films and electronic data for Radiologist interpretation. Follow radiation safety guidelines per ALARA principles. Order and verify patient-specific radiopharmaceutical doses. Document all activities in logs, manuals, and charge documents per regulatory policies.
Requirements: Experience: Minimum 1 year of CT experience. Education: Graduate of a Radiologic Technologist program. Licensure: New York State License (L.R.T). Certifications: ARRT (Radiography and CT) and BLS (required before start). Skills: Radiography, Radiologic Technology, Quality Control, Radiation Safety, Documentation. Floating: May be required within scope.
