We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) to join the team at Valley View Center for Nursing Care and Rehabilitation. In this role, you will assist in providing basic care to residents under the supervision of licensed nursing staff, ensuring their comfort and well-being.

Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent
  • Licensure: Current New York State Nurse Aide certification
  • Certifications: Completion of a state-approved CNA training program
  • Experience: Prior experience in a nursing care or rehabilitation setting is a plus
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) and monitoring resident conditions
  • Soft Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, a compassionate approach to care, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and feeding
  • Monitor and report changes in resident condition to licensed nursing staff
  • Take and record vital signs as directed
  • Assist with resident positioning and mobility
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents
  • Participate in activities and social programs for residents
  • Respond promptly to resident calls and requests
