ABOUT OUR CLIENT / ABOUT THE ROLE
Medix is currently hiring an Associate Technical Product Manager to join our client's large and complex 300+ person Agile product organization.
Our client is building a brand-new cloud-native suite of software applications that services Federal Government and US Military end-customers with a range of health services.
This Product Manager role will be assisting Product Leadership in conducting analysis on the features and capabilities - estimating the cost and time it will take to develop features, determining the value, and tracking through KPIs and metrics. This role will also be responsible for working with Scrum Teams to coordinate software releases, triaging software issues as they arise.
This role is for an Associate/ Mid Level individual (2-5 years experience) who has some background within a Software Development org, and who is interested in learning about industry and product lines, and grow within the organization.
Prior Healthcare Industry is highly preferred. Please note that because this role is working with Federal US Government end-customers, ship is required.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Working in an Agile Software Development product organization as an Associate / Junior-level Technical Product Manager. This team delivers custom web-application development solutions to solve every day business needs for the healthcare services organization.
- Building relationships across end-users, business stakeholders, technology and product teams.
- Supporting specific capabilities for healthcare insurance offerings used by US Government end-customers.
- Assisting with software product releases
- Coordinating release communications
- Conducting analysis on the product life cycle - capabilities, maturing opportunities, etc.
- Conducting industry analysis on competitive products and industry trends
- Assisting with forecasting and feasibility efforts
- Conducting results analysis and monitoring, using KPIS to determine the value of features.
- Conducting customer experience analysis in tracking and following up on NPS scores and closing feedback loops
- Driving proactive Issue monitoring, and following up to alleviate recurring incident tickets
- Conducting product performance monitoring by leveraging reports on availability, utilization, conversion tied to business initiatives, etc.
- Understanding user stories, features and the unique considerations for how end-users might be impacted
- Conducting analysis on features, and industry best-practices.
- Assisting the Senior and Lead Product Owners on tasks
- Assisting in prioritizing tasks to meet obligations and opportunities
- Supporting the tasks for product backlog prioritization
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & TECHNICAL EXPERIENCE
- Required Bachelor Degree, or equivalent work experience
- Required 2-5 years of professional work experience
- Required 1-2 years recent experience working in a larger Agile software development organization
- Agile Certifications Preferred (Certified Scrum Master, Certified POPM, CSPO, etc)
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong experience in conducting analysis on product features and capabilities.
- Strong forecasting and estimating skills
