Here’s what you’ll be doing:
- Coordinate patient appointments with specialists and testing per physician requests, ensuring insurance authorization is obtained prior to scheduling.
- Communicate appointment details to patients and ensure proper information is forwarded to specialist offices.
- Track referrals in LifeChart work queues and follow up on outstanding referrals within three business days.
- Provide support to front office operations, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with all referral and authorization requirements.
Here’s what you’ll have:
- Minimum of one year in a front office medical role, with knowledge of third-party payers, billing, and medical terminology.
