Position Overview

We are seeking a Jobsite Project Administrator to support on-site construction operations by managing paperwork, compliance, and administrative tasks. This entry-level role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in construction project management. The position is initially temporary (6 months) with the possibility of becoming a full-time salaried role, depending on performance and company growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and organize daily logs, pre-shift reports, toolbox talks, and other project-related documentation.
  • Track and ensure all permits and DOB drawings are up to date and available on-site.
  • Monitor trade partner compliance by verifying insurance certificates and ensuring all subcontractors meet required safety and regulatory standards.
  • Assist project managers with data entry, reporting, and tracking project progress.
  • Coordinate with office staff to keep jobsite records aligned with company databases.
  • Support scheduling and communication between subcontractors and project teams.
  • Ensure jobsite safety documents are properly maintained and accessible.
  • Assist in preparing and distributing safety meeting materials.
  • Maintain awareness of OSHA and DOB compliance requirements.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • OSHA 30 certification required; 40-hour SST preferred.
  • 1-2 years of construction experience or educational background in construction management, engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced jobsite environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and ability to quickly learn project management software.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and eager to learn.
