Delivering the people and products that keep your business moving.

We are not your typical vendor. Starting from humble beginnings in 1996 in Apopka, our family-owned Nut & Bolt company specializes in Customer Embedment- listening to our customers and empowering our people to consistently deliver the best Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) experience in the state of Florida.

Who We Are:

Builders and doers focused on keeping our customers moving.

We bring together hassle-free humans and pair them with some of the brightest minds in distribution who have tackled the toughest customer challenges in the industry.

Since our founder retired in 2024, the injection of new faces into Forge’s day-to-day operations has fueled our current growth- forcing us to grow our team.

For us, it’s simple- remain unwavering in our commitment to “Old-School” solutions that emphasize ease and reliability, while reinvesting back in our local community.

At the same time, we treat our suppliers like they’re our best customers- allowing us to deliver to our customers when it matters most while winning out against much larger competitors.

If you enjoy doing your customer’s homework for them and you dislike corporate busywork or office politics, we want you to join our team.

About The Job:

We are looking for Inside or Outside Salespeople that believe they are capable of more. With uncapped commissions and open territories- this is an opportunity to earn and grow. You will work out of our offices in Tampa or Orlando and bring the following attributes:

  • Demonstrated Experience in Sales within the Hardware Supply or Manufacturing Sector. We are seeking candidates who already know who their first accounts will be. Someone who understands the people and inventory challenges faced by local manufacturers and construction firms and has experience building long-term client relationships in this sector. Pre-existing relationships with local businesses or industry associations are a requirement.
  • Client-First Mindset. We put the needs of our clients first. We actively seek to embed ourselves with the organization to understand inventory challenges and work to provide solutions that keep their operations running without interruption.
  • Ownership Mentality. We’re looking for individuals who take ownership of their client accounts, assume responsibility for client satisfaction, and contribute to a culture of excellence. We are a family of entrepreneurs and are committed to training future entrepreneurs
  • Technical Aptitude and Intellectual Curiosity. We rely on efficient inventory management systems. Candidates should be comfortable with basic technology, “old-school” in their mindset, and eager to learn about how the world is changing for their customers..
  • Structured Thinker and Problem Solver. Leading client accounts requires clear communication and well-thought-out plans. We need assertive communicators who can distill complex inventory needs into actionable solutions.
  • High Value Team Member. We value teamwork and collaboration. Our success depends on working closely with our warehouse and delivery teams to deliver exceptional service.
  • Bring Your People with You. We want to work with people that we like. If you’re convinced that someone you know can help us on our mission- we’ll make space for good people.

What You’ll Do:

Generate and capture business opportunities.

In this role, you’ll focus on expanding our VMI services for nuts, bolts, and related consumables. You’ll build a deep understanding of local manufacturing, construction, and maintenance businesses, their inventory needs, and the competitive landscape. At the same time, you will have a front-row seat to how our family has been building companies for the past 30 years. This knowledge will shape sales strategies and improvements to our VMI offerings. Your day-to-day will involve engaging with current and potential clients, crafting growth strategies, spotting opportunities in their buying cycles, leading proposals, and closing deals to bring new business to Forge Fasteners. We’re looking for candidates with experience in hardware supply or inventory management for local industries.

Grow existing business.

You’ll collaborate with our team to strengthen relationships with current clients. This means not just expanding existing contracts but also finding fresh ways to support their operations—building on the trust we’ve already earned to uncover new opportunities.

Communicate our value to clients.

You’ll need to clearly articulate how our reliable, efficient VMI solutions give clients a competitive advantage in managing their hardware inventory, showcasing our family-owned commitment to quality and service.

Inform service development.

You’ll often be the first to connect with new clients, so it’s your job to relay their inventory challenges back to our operations team. Your insights will help prioritize service enhancements, keep our team aligned, and ensure we’re meeting client needs. By staying engaged with clients, you’ll provide valuable feedback that shapes new VMI features or offerings, keeping our services top-notch.
