Position Summary:

Cennox is seeking an experienced and highly organized Inventory Manager to lead and evolve our inventory operations across a complex, multi-location service network. This individual will play a critical role in designing, maintaining, and supporting Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for inventory management across our technician network, subcontractor base, secondary stocking locations, and master distribution center. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with strong operational insight, experienced in high-volume, inventory systems and service-level driven environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain SOPs for inventory management across all stocking locations, including field tech vans, subcontractor hubs, satellite stocking locations, and the central distribution center
  • Support over 250+ technicians and hundreds of subcontractors by ensuring they have timely access to the tools, parts, and equipment needed to meet customer SLAs
  • Coordinate with the Master Distribution Center to optimize inventory levels, track usage trends, and reduce shortages or overstock
  • Oversee the tracking, auditing, and replenishment of inventory across all levels of the supply chain
  • Implement and manage inventory systems/tools to increase visibility, traceability, and reporting
  • Establish performance metrics and KPIs to monitor inventory accuracy, turnaround time, and fulfillment success
  • Partner with Field Operations, Procurement, and Logistics teams to drive cross-functional improvements and ensure optimal support to the end customer
  • Conduct regular inventory reviews and audits to ensure compliance with internal standards and customer requirements
  • Identify and resolve inventory-related issues promptly to maintain service levels
  • Train field staff and subcontractors on inventory protocols and ensure adherence to company standards

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in inventory, logistics, or supply chain management, preferably in a field services environment
  • Strong knowledge of inventory control systems, including ERP (Oracle Fusion) and asset tracking software
  • Proven experience supporting distributed field teams and complex supply chain networks
  • Demonstrated ability to create and enforce SOPs and drive operational consistency
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Data-driven mindset with strong Excel and reporting capabilities
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
  • Experience working with third-party logistics (3PLs) and subcontractor networks is a plus
