Provides daily leadership of the Telecommunications department to include staff scheduling, employee attendance, interviewing and hiring. Job Summary

- Works with Senior Director of Operations to accomplish departmental goals. Oversees the daily operations of telecommunication, including maintenance of call and procedure logs.
- Coordinate with customer counterparts to optimize workflows and improve job progress.
- Manages the telecommunications team, ensuring proper allocation of resources and efficient performance.
- Provide training, mentorship, and performance management to team members.
- Oversees and/or performs personnel functions such as recruiting, interviewing, hiring, counseling, and carrying out discipline procedure in accordance with Human Resources policies; oversees establishment of performance objectives and assessment and maintenance of good staff relations.
- Monitor operational costs and manage an annual budget; including but not limited to departmental equipment.
- Collaborates with the RMC project team to ensure equipment and resource planning for the medical center is adequate.
- Use data-driven reports to make informed decisions about process changes, resource allocation, and operational improvements. Oversee customer service operations to ensure timely and effective resolution of customer issues: Monitor, address and resolve complaints.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience - Required
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3-5 years in telecommunications operations, with at least 2 years in a management or leadership role.
- Computer knowledge, to include Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Proven experience in managing teams, vendor relationships, and operational processes.
- Familiarity with telecom industry regulations, technologies, and best practices.
- Strong understanding of telecommunication systems, infrastructure, and service delivery.
- Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Proficient in data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Excel).
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
