Compensation Overview
The annual base salary range provided for this position is a nationwide market range and represents a broad range of salaries for this role across the country. The actual salary for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment. As part of our comprehensive compensation and benefits program, employees are also eligible for performance-based cash incentive awards.

What Is the Opportunity?
The Senior Director, Demand Management is a key role within the Technology & Operations Transformation Office, responsible for standardizing and streamlining the intake, triage, and evaluation of emergent demand across the enterprise. This role will partner with enterprise architecture, agile and engineering offices, and CXO SPP teams to ensure that all emergent demand is managed efficiently and effectively. You will establish and manage a view, and necessary reporting, of the Technology & Operations portfolio across work archetypes and provide key insights on the flow of work through intake and demand, resource and capacity, and dependencies and risks. We're seeking a proactive individual who thrives in a dynamic environment and excels at creating structure. This role requires a strong executive presence and the ability to navigate and succeed in a fast-paced setting.
What Will You Do?
  • This dynamic role will have accountabilities for:
  • Standardize and streamline the cross-area emergent demand intake process to ensure all demand is consistently captured, triaged, and evaluated.
  • Work closely with enterprise architecture, our agile and engineering offices, and chapters, and CXO SPP teams, to enhance visibility, streamline demand management and provide tracking standards in Jira to support comprehensive reporting, evaluation, and decision-making.
  • Establish and manage processes for identifying, documenting, and tracking dependencies throughout the initiative lifecycle, ensuring all critical dependencies are effectively managed and communicated.
  • Collaborate with agile and engineering offices to enhance visibility at various levels and advance monthly operating reviews and biannual deep dives.
  • Engage Enterprise Leaders as well as Key Stakeholder Partners (Architecture, Finance,) to facilitate thoughtful prioritization and planning of work and alignment across multiple portfolios.
  • Host forums, summarize technical challenges and facilitate assessments of potential impact to target timelines.
  • Foster collaboration and open communication among all stakeholders to ensure dependencies are clearly understood and managed across the organization.
  • Champion and refine Jira usage to increase visibility of dependencies across teams and value streams, driving the development of relevant reporting, workflows and dashboards to support decision-making processes.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with enterprise architecture, agile and engineering offices, and CXO SPP teams to ensure cohesive execution of demand management processes.
  • Coordinate engagement of subject matter experts and stakeholders for standing intake/demand meetings, scoping/framing, impact assessment, captured learning/decisions, and actionable outcomes and governance.
  • Surface and facilitate recommendations on complex dependencies that could affect the success of other initiatives and develop capacity measures to improve predictability of outcomes.

What Will Our Ideal Candidate Have?
  • Strong communicator, with proven ability to engage effectively with senior leadership.
  • Experience with Demand Management across multiple channels and demand types.
  • Skilled in facilitation and relationship building, with a proven ability to influence.
  • Experienced in software development lifecycle within an agile environment.
  • Financial acumen within a technology environment.
  • Advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills (v-lookups, pivot tables).
  • Proficient in Jira and other work management tools, with a focus on report automation and data management including SQL and/or JQL experience (preferred).
  • Critical thinker who easily identifies patterns and connections within a technology environment.
  • Understanding and experience with process improvement and change management principles and practices (relevant certifications preferred).

  • Bachelor's Degree and 7 years of related experience or equivalent in education and work experience.
