As a workers’ compensation claims adjuster, you’ll be responsible for handling all manner of lost time and indemnity claims across multiple state jurisdictions You’ll navigate workers’ compensation claims and be responsible for the investigation, evaluation, negotiation, and settlement of claims. Additionally, you’ll prioritize and organize appropriate file direction while managing your caseload. In this role, you’ll be expected to obtain any applicable licenses within 90 days of being hired.

This is a remote position.

Must-have Qualifications

  • Four years of relevant work experience with one year in claims handling OR
  • One year in claims handling and a bachelor’s degree OR
  • Three years of relevant work experience with one year in claims handling and an associate degree

Preferred Skills

  • Multi-state indemnity claims experience
  • Experience handling commercial lines attorney represented injury claims
  • Ability to obtain and maintain licensing and state certification where required
  • Knowledge of claims investigation techniques, compensability, insurance coverage and negotiations skills
  • Demonstrated time management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and efficiency

Compensation

  • $54,200- $72,200/year
  • Gainshare bonus up to 16% of your eligible earnings based on company performance
