Role & Responsibilities:
Summary
The Project Manager role at CIMcloud plays a critical role in all Customer work. Responsible for ownership of each project immediately after sale, the PM works with the Solution Architects, Customer Success Managers, and Expert Help team to clearly define the Work Breakdown Structure and associated project plan. Each project plan includes work from multiple teams, and the PM will need to coordinate all work, manage project budgets, allocation, and delivery, and ensure work is completed to scope on time and on budget.
The PM will be responsible for a variety of different types of work, including New Logo Customers, existing customers with upgrades or Bundle add-ons, and legacy classic product customers who want to migrate to the latest version.
The ideal PM candidate is highly organized and articulate, and is able to build relationship bridges with customers and internal teams for successful and timely delivery. Additionally, this candidate thrives and is driven by being able to define, build, and implement new processes, procedures, and tools to empower a growing Project Management team.

Responsibilities
PM’s will be customer-facing on some projects, and internal project managers on others, and will be responsible for the following:
Project Planning & Execution
Define project scope, objectives, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders.
Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies.
Drive execution of projects from initiation to completion, ensuring on-time and within-budget delivery.
Cross-Team Coordination & Stakeholder Management
Act as the primary point of contact between sales, customer success, services delivery, and product teams.
Facilitate alignment on priorities, dependencies, and potential risks across departments.
Conduct regular status meetings, stand-ups, and stakeholder updates to ensure transparency and manage high-profile customers.
Risk Management & Issue Resolution
Proactively identify risks, roadblocks, and bottlenecks that could impact project delivery.
Develop risk mitigation plans and escalate critical issues when necessary.
Ensure teams have the necessary resources and support to stay productive.
Process Improvement & Operational Efficiency
Continuously analyze and refine project management processes to remove inefficiencies.
Leverage automation and project tracking tools to improve visibility and reporting.
Advocate for best practices in documentation, workflow optimization, and knowledge sharing.
Customer Impact
Work with Expert Help team to oversee customer onboarding and implementation projects to ensure smooth adoption.
Work closely with Customer Success to align product development projects with customer needs.
Track and report customer-impacting project metrics, such as onboarding time and feature adoption.
Data-Driven Decision Making & Reporting
Define and monitor project KPIs to measure success and identify areas for improvement.
Provide leadership with real-time insights on project health, team capacity, and risks.
Utilize dashboards and reporting tools to maintain visibility into project progress.
Qualifications
Project Managers at CIMcloud will possess the following qualifications
5+ years of experience in project coordination, consulting, or customer-facing roles within SaaS, ERP, or eCommerce platforms.
Strong Project management skills including Project Planning, work breakdown structures, budgets, resource allocation, etc.
Experience and passion with developing internal PM playbooks, process, and standard operating procedures.
Strong understanding of B2B eCommerce platforms, ERP integrations, and technical solution design.
Team leadership experience, including providing oversight, optimizing workflows, and supporting team growth.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to facilitate alignment across teams and with high-profile customers.
Financial and business acumen, with experience tracking budgets and performance metrics.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to anticipate and mitigate risks.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) is a plus.
Technical knowledge of web technologies, APIs, and integrations is a plus.
