OneSparQ is looking for Field Service Technician II for a service provider located in the greater Lubbock, TX.
Responsibilities:
- Install and set up new POS systems according to client specifications
- Perform routine maintenance on POS hardware, including printers, scanners, and card readers
- Install necessary software, ensure all software is updated to the latest versions, and troubleshoot any software issues
- Diagnose and resolve any hardware or software issues that may arise, both remotely and on-site
- Provide clients with training on how to use their new POS systems and answer any questions they may have
- Document all services and installations accurately and in a timely manner
Required Skills:
- 2+ years of experience troubleshooting and repairing/installing/upgrading printers, POS systems and other networking devices
- Willingness to travel to client locations as needed while working independently and managing time effectively
Additional Skills:
- Lexmark certifications
- Experience with POS systems and printer maintenance
- Associate's Degree within an IT discipline
