Architect Description:

The D365 CRM and Power Platform Architect plays a pivotal role in implementing Dynamics 365 CE (Sales, Customer Insights for Journeys, Customer Service, Project Service) solutions. This role spans the entire project lifecycle, from pre-sales activities to go-live and ongoing support. As a D365 technical architect, you will lead implementations of D365 CE products using advanced tools and techniques, leveraging standard methodologies to deliver compelling solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional service to stakeholders.
  • Oversee the development architecture process with the engineering team.
  • Design and build D365 solutions (Sales, Customer Insights for Journeys, Customer Service, Project Service) that align with client objectives.
  • Develop and enhance existing and new D365 products.
  • Use your knowledge of business processes and best practices to guide stakeholders during pre-implementation consulting engagements such as Requirements Gathering, Fit Gap Assessments, Design, and Configuration.
  • Conduct business and systems analysis and documentation.
  • Perform product design and gap analysis relative to standard product functionality.
  • Produce design, system, user, and procedural documentation.
  • Configure and set up applications.
  • Provide system training to both internal and external teams.
  • Collaborate with on-shore and off-shore development teams to deliver robust solutions on time.
  • Manage change control processes.
  • Design and execute data migration strategies.
  • Plan, prioritize, and organize time, project schedules, and multiple project activities effectively.
  • Identify and analyze risks and issues for the program or project portfolio alongside project managers.
  • Analyze situations systematically and logically to resolve problems, identify causes, and anticipate implications.
  • Develop and test detailed functional designs for business solution components and prototypes.
  • Write development specifications and interface with stakeholders to test modifications and resolve any arising issues.
  • Participate in data migrations, integrations, report design, and security design.

Minimum Requirements Education, Skills & Abilities:

  • 12+ years of Microsoft D365 CE (or similar) development experience, including integrations and data migration techniques.
  • 4+ years of Microsoft D365 CE (or similar) architecture experience.
  • Proficiency in C# and JavaScript.
  • Expertise in Power Pages.
  • Experience in Agile Development methodologies.
  • Ability to enhance/customize Dynamics 365 CE based on business requirements.
  • Deep understanding of Microsoft Power Platform technologies.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the Microsoft Dataverse platform.
  • Familiarity with Sales, Marketing, Field Service, or Customer Service modules.
  • Proven track record of successful project delivery.
  • Strong listening skills with the ability to resolve problems quickly, implement solutions, and handle pressure effectively.
  • Capability to assimilate information from various sources and recognize sensitive situations.
  • Organizational skills to manage time and resources effectively.
  • Clear and effective written communication skills.
  • Mandatory certifications in Dynamics 365 and Power Platform.
