  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced z/OS System Programmer to join our infrastructure support team for our client, JPMorgan Chase Bank. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, tuning, and support of z/OS and related subsystems in a high-availability enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform installation, customization, and maintenance of the z/OS operating system and IBM Program Products.

  • Provide support for z/OS subsystems such as JES2, TSO/E, VTAM, TCP/IP, USS, SDSF, RACF, SMF, RMF, and other components.

  • Maintain and support IBM mainframe technologies including SMP/E, JCL, REXX, ISPF, and TSO.

  • Troubleshoot system issues and provide root cause analysis.

  • Monitor and ensure system performance and availability.

  • Work closely with application teams to resolve performance issues and support batch processing.

  • Participate in Disaster Recovery planning and testing.

  • Apply z/OS system maintenance using IBM and third-party service packs and PTFs.

  • Maintain system documentation and change management records.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in z/OS system programming.

  • In-depth knowledge of IBM mainframe infrastructure.

  • Experience with system and product installation using SMP/E.

  • Hands-on experience with automation tools and performance monitoring utilities.

  • Strong scripting skills in REXX, CLIST, and JCL.

  • Solid understanding of RACF security and compliance standards.

  • Experience in debugging system-level problems and implementing solutions.

  • Familiarity with hardware configurations, DASD, tape systems, and printing systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with modernization tools and mainframe DevOps (e.g., Zowe, Jenkins for z/OS).

  • Knowledge of MQ, CICS, DB2 on z/OS is a plus.

  • Prior experience working in a banking/financial environment is highly preferred.
