Strategy and Leadership:
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with senior leaders, customers, internal partners, and external stakeholders.
- Lead and execute against the broader digital and technology vision and strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Develop and lead a visionary education application ecosystem strategy aligned with strategic business objectives and customer and employee enablement.
- Drive the development of technology products aligned with business goals overseeing the entire product lifecycle, from concept to launch.
- Drive business transformation through modernization, integration, and the incorporation of hyper-automation, artificial intelligence, and innovation.
- Own the education business technology and application strategy, solutions, investment roadmap, and execution priorities, aligning them with evolving business goals.
- Lead strategic and operational planning to achieve education business goals by fostering innovation, prioritizing initiatives, and coordinating the evaluation, deployment, and management of current and future solutions.
- Stay informed about market trends and emerging regulatory requirements, educating and strategizing accordingly.
Operational Management
- Collaborate with business and key stakeholders to plan, prioritize, and schedule applications development and enhancement requests, while providing direction and guidance to the applications development staff.
- Coordinate and facilitate consultation with stakeholders to define business and systems requirements for new technology implementations.
- Ensure continuous delivery of services through oversight of service level agreements with end users and monitoring of systems performance.
- Prioritize, and manage execution of projects and the project portfolio as they relate to the selection, acquisition, development, and installation of education technology solutions.
- Drives stakeholder satisfaction by delivering quality applications and support with controlled and planned change management.
- Provide oversight in standards adherence through reviews of project work including detailed technical specifications and application code.
- Develop business case justifications and cost/benefit analyses for technology spending and initiatives.
Technical Delivery
- Design, write, and optimize complex SQL queries, views, functions, and stored procedures for data analysis, reporting, and application features.
- Maintain and enhance student portals using HTML, CSS, and SQL for user-facing interfaces and backend data integration.
- Collaborate with academic and administrative departments to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions within the SIS.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to the SIS and portal, working closely with internal IT staff and vendors as needed.
- Analyze data integrity and system performance; identify and implement improvements.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including process workflows, data dictionaries, and user guides.
- Participate in SIS upgrades, data migrations, and integrations with other institutional systems (e.g., LMS, CRM).
- Provide technical support to end users, including training and assistance with system features and reporting tools.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations (FERPA) and institutional policies
