CAD/BIM Technician

Job Summary:

The CAD/BIM Technician will perform architectural drafting and modeling. This role includes but is not limited to making an impact in the following areas:

Job Goals:

1. Provide as-built models from locating and scanning data captured by GPRS Project Managers.
2. Import 2D and 3D data, drone imagery, and other methods of data processing to create high quality deliverables and analysis for our clients use.

Job Responsibilities:

• Use a variety of CAD/BIM software programs to create maps, models, drawings, and reports in 2D and 3D
• QA/QC projects to ensure accuracy and precision
• Work as part of a team and lead other's work on projects
• Actively engage with clients through all stages of project from start to follow up, as needed
• Responsible for on-time completion, overall budget, quality, and client satisfaction on projects
• Consistently communicate internally and externally regarding project and client project status and expectations
• Keep company ERP systems accurately updated with project information and status
• Research industry trends and test and develop new solutions for continuous professional growth.

Qualifications

Qualifications/Minimum Requirements:

• Strong attention to detail
• Prior experience working in a collaborative team focused environment with strong communication skills
• CAD, BIM, or Architecture/Engineering/GIS related degree or certificate preferred
• 2 years of modeling experience preferred
• Proficient with Revit
• Experience in building systems (HVAC, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, etc.) is beneficial
