Overview

Lead the modernization and management of Security & investment technology products, leveraging SaaS solutions and aligning with enterprise application and platform strategies. Oversee the product lifecycle, including stakeholder engagement, financial planning, team leadership, technology delivery, and ongoing operations across Security & Investments domains such as Fraud, Security Compliance, Physical and Information Security and NFFG.

Responsibilities
  • Accountable for Stakeholder Management and Communications, Scope and Financials, Team Management, Technology and Delivery, and Operations and Support across Security & Investments Technology Products
  • Lead portfolio and product planning, budgeting, and financial management aligned with strategic goals
  • Oversee product deployment, support, and partnerships with InfoSec, Risk, and Compliance teams to ensure policy adherence
  • Lead end-to-end product delivery using Agile frameworks (SAFe, Scrum, Kanban), ensuring alignment with roadmaps and organizational standards, communicate and resolve escalated stakeholder issues, surface recommendations to Leadership, Security, Channels, & Investments, and lead executive steering committee of stakeholders across business domains
  • Develop and define clear core work definitions, roles, responsibilities, and process flows aligned to digital operating models; demonstrate each product's complete product life cycle, capabilities, and portfolio-level product health dashboards and journeys
  • Partner with Enterprise Architects and Cloud Engineers to determine and define the technical architecture required to implement and support ensuring alignment to enterprise anchor platform strategy, including application rationalization landing zone (sustain, transform, retire)
  • Develops workforce strategy (skills, competencies, team size, span of control, persona) supporting both on-premises and cloud solutions for each Security & Investments Products
  • Ensure effective and efficient allocation of staff resources to service products and capabilities by leveraging Agile framework (i.e., SAFe)
  • Partner with Technology Product Owners, Technology Product Managers, Portfolio Product Managers, and Vendors to ensure that the right resources (skills, competencies, team size) are onboard to support the delivery of Product capabilities aligned to Product roadmaps
  • Ensures compliance with Navy Federal's policy and standards, practices, and processes
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications
  • Advanced expertise in spearheading large-scale IT transformations from on-premises systems to SaaS solutions within complex financial services environments, leveraging diverse technology architectures and Agile frameworks such as SAFe within a Product Delivery model
  • Advanced knowledge and hands-on experience with Cloud Computing and Software as a Service (SaaS)
  • Advanced knowledge leveraging Agile delivery frameworks (i.e., SAFe) and transforming delivery teams from traditional waterfall/hybrid delivery to more agile/hybrid delivery model
  • Advanced knowledge operating in a Product Delivery Model, management methodologies, and experience in cloud-native architecture leveraging CI/CD, API frameworks, Data Lakes, Containers, Azure DevOps, etc.
  • Advanced experience managing information technology resources to ensure adherence to policy and standards (e.g., vulnerabilities, risk profile, patch management, infosec, etc.)
  • Advanced skill in analytical thinking skills, including summarizing & identifying key solutions/results
  • Strong communication skills and confidence in speaking with internal and external stakeholders
  • Advanced experience in demonstrating thought leadership, initiative-taking, decision-making, and creativity in solving business problems
  • Advanced skill in producing desired results and achieving goals and objectives
  • Advanced skills in responding quickly to management concerns and decisions
  • Advanced verbal and written communication skills and comfortable presenting to Executive Leadership
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or the equivalent combination of education, training and experience
