As a Workers' Compensation Claims Coordinator, you will manage the intake, documentation, and administrative support functions necessary to ensure timely, compliant, and compassionate claims handling. What You’ll Do
This role serves as a critical first responder and process coordinator for workplace injury claims. As a Workers' Compensation Claims Coordinator, you will manage the intake, documentation, and administrative support functions necessary to ensure timely, compliant, and compassionate claims handling. You’ll collaborate closely with internal teams, clients, vendors, and injured workers to deliver a high-touch service experience while maintaining accuracy and adherence to regulatory standards.
- Manage Workers’ Compensation Intake: Serve as the first point of contact for new workplace injury reports, conducting professional, empathetic, and accurate claim intake to initiate the claims process.
- Ensure Timely Claim Setup and Notifications: Accurately enter incident details into the claims management system, initiate critical forms and internal communications, and ensure timely and compliant delivery of notifications to clients and teams.
- Monitor and Resolve Service Queue Items: Proactively manage the ServiceFirst queue daily, ensuring timely resolution of incoming inquiries and appropriate escalation of complex issues.
- Support Administrative Claims Functions: Handle a range of administrative responsibilities, including document uploads, subpoena coordination, independent medical exam (IME) support, and proper documentation handling.
- Coordinate Vendor Engagement and Payments: Process vendor invoices and claimant reimbursements accurately and efficiently, managing outreach for missing documentation and ensuring all system entries are properly documented.
- Experience in a high-volume claims, insurance, or client service environment with direct involvement in workflow and documentation processes.
- Demonstrated ability to navigate complex systems and follow structured compliance procedures with precision and care.
- Proficiency in claims management platforms and case-tracking tools for accurate intake and follow-through.
- Ability to maintain trust-based relationships with external stakeholders including clients, providers, attorneys, and vendors.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with a proven record of managing deadlines and delivering results under pressure.
