Description of responsibilities:
Role Mandate: Candidate will be joining a team accountable for executing court ordered requests for information received from a wide variety of agencies across Canada.
Role Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):
Assist with the interpretation of requests in order to determine what information is being requested
Provide instruction to their colleagues who will be executing the requests
Ensuring requests are diligently handled, and that the necessary documentation was provided while ensuring any privacy or security risks are mitigated
Liaise with various internal and external stakeholders are various levels of seniority
Including law enforcement agencies, security commissions, and governing bodies
Act as a subject matter expert for team members looking for assistance with their requests
Must-Have Skills:
Bilingual French/English [must be completely fluent; written and verbal]
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to multitask and pivot based on the level of urgency
Strong prioritization skills
Legal background with time as legal assistant or paralegal
Comfortable liaising with external and internal parties regarding active requests
Law enforcement, Law firms, Security Commissions etc
Familiarity with Microsoft suite [Excel, Outlook]
Works collaboratively with team members
Familiarity with both legal and Banking terminology
Nice to Have Skills:
Previous Banking experience
