The Impact you will have in this role:

DTCC leverages event and alert management systems integrated with tools like ServiceNow and PagerDuty, to monitor our infrastructure in real-time and detect anomalies and escalate them to the correct support teams that will then review and take either reactive or proactive action for incident resolution.

This role in Event and Alert Mgmt. is crucial for bridging the gap between IT and business. This position ensures clear and comprehensive technical writing, oversees PagerDuty UAT and ETE testing, and documents user requirements and journeys to optimize the end-user experience. A key responsibility also includes creating job aids and governance documentation to support organizational standards and practices. Additionally, the role fosters team collaboration and coordination, which is vital for successful project execution.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Develop clear and comprehensive technical documentation, including job aids and governance materials such as standards, policy and procedures, to ensure complex technical information is easily understood by various stakeholders.
  • Plan, execute, and manage User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and End-to-End (ETE) testing for PagerDuty to ensure system reliability and performance.
  • Gather and document user requirements, map user journeys, and translate these into detailed documentation to optimize the end-user experience.
  • Facilitate communication and coordination across various departments, resolve conflicts, and ensure all team members are aligned and working towards common goals.
  • Produce required project analysis documentation such as business requirements, scope matrix, use cases, sequence diagrams, future state proposals, and UAT plans.
  • Create and maintain job aids, process documents, and governance documentation to support organizational standards and practices.
  • Stay current with customer needs and strategies, communicate updates and findings through formal and informal written methods, and facilitate project meetings and presentations to diverse audiences.
  • Help define and document product specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Support the prioritization of the product roadmap and the timely delivery of features and enhancements.
  • Own the management of the squad's backlog.
  • Collaborate with stakeholder groups to gather business requirements, assist in developing project plans, and help identify resource requirements.
  • Assist in creating and refining the backlog of user stories with the squad to ensure the right level of detail is provided at the right time.
  • Review backlog items according to acceptance criteria during the sprint.
  • Bring the voice of the client (external/internal) into the squad.
  • Build relationships with the Tribe Leads and key stakeholders to identify issues, risks, and dependencies, and maintain alignment to achieve product strategy.
  • Assist in incorporating and prioritizing technical work to deliver on release objectives.
  • Support the evaluation of implementation alternatives and consider the impact of changing scope on budget and estimates.
  • Provide basic analytical and reporting capabilities to support decision-making by business partners.
  • Attend and participate in all squad meetings (e.g., sprint and release events).
  • Follow established procedures and monitoring controls to mitigate risk, spot key errors, and demonstrate strong ethical behavior.

Qualifications :
  • Minimum of 5 years of related experience
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience
  • Prior experience communicating with all stakeholders (technology, clients, finance, integration, operations teams) to engage in discussion, create user stories, and consistently deliver the right products and solutions
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to shifting priorities
  • Knowledge of financial services operations and technology; experience in banking, capital markets, or financial operations is a plus
  • Solid understanding of trade lifecycle and DTCC's Clearing & Settlement products
