
FOOD SERVICE WORKER
Sets up cafeteria lines with hot and cold food items. Serves food cafeteria style. Breaks down and cleans area when meals are complete. Operates dishwasher and scrubs pots and pans. Performs heavy duty cleaning tasks including washing walls, floors and kitchen equipment. Collects and transfers trash from work area to disposal area. May unload food from delivery trucks. Position is mission essential.

- This position requires the incumbent to complete a background investigation with favorable results.
- Must satisfactorily complete Installation, State and National Criminal background checks.
- Must satisfactorily complete a pre-employment physical and have required immunizations.
- Must be able to obtain a Food Handler’s Certificate and/or complete food handler’s training.
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older.

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Qualifying Experience:
Must have knowledge of sanitation standards in handling and serving food, and for cleaning equipment and work area. Must be able to follow simple oral instructions, be able to use hand tools for cleaning and operating simple machines. Must be skilled in doing tasks with several steps and use judgement in sequencing tasks. Must be 18 years of age or older.
Education
This position does not allow for education substitution.
