Position Overview:

The role involves planning, scheduling, and executing the replacement of end-user devices, ensuring minimal disruption while maintaining data security, asset tracking, and compliance with IT policies. The candidate will work closely with stakeholders to coordinate deployments, decommission old devices, and provide end-user support.

We are seeking a Desktop Support Engineer with hands-on experience in laptop refresh projects. This role will focus on device deployment, user profile migration, troubleshooting, and asset management during a large-scale hardware refresh initiative. The candidate will be responsible for installing, configuring, and supporting new laptops. This role also requires travel to remote locations as part of the deployment process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform end-to-end OS deployments
  • Configure user profiles and ensure a smooth onboarding experience.
  • Transfer user data securely from old to new devices.
