Position Information: Our client is seeking a talented QA Consultant.
Responsibilities:
- Total accountability for functional, technical, quality in assigned projects deliverables
- Responsible for testing process and ensuring that testing methods meet specifications
- Responsible for Test coverage across all functional areas
- Experience in test plan development, quality and risk management; defect management, test analysis design, usability standards, test case authoring, test case execution strategies
- Exercise broad and effective judgment when inputs are less defined and or ambiguous
- Author efficient test cases and execute the test cases as per established timelines
- Provide accurate test execution summaries and record work effort accurately and in a timely manner
- Exhibit positive involvement in all team and organizational level activities
- Participate in design reviews and make recommendations for project and or process improvements
- Contribute to Internal Asset Development programs
- Present and defend reports on defect counts, defect trends and other relevant analytical information
- Work and exhibit automation skills on automation projects.
- Work towards Implement best practices at project and organization level
Requirements:
- 2 to 4 years of relevant hands-on experience
- Experience in Testing and Delivering Adobe Experience Manager projects
- Experience in Testing and Delivering Adobe Experience Manager Templates and Components
- Experience with Azure DevOps Test Case and Defects Management
- Strong software testing skills and ability to create a successful application test plan, test estimates and internal/external acceptance criteria
- Experience working in Agile, Waterfall or hybrid project lifecycles
- Strong technical aptitude, intimate knowledge of the software development life cycle, a proven track record in deliveries and robust communication skills
- Planning and estimating work effort for test plans, testing tasks and daily activities
- Track record of delivering to time with quality
- Excellent written and oral communication skills required
- Experience in Web, Mobile, and Hybrid projects
- Strong working knowledge of various test tools
- Excellent problem resolution, judgment and decision-making skills
- Excellent understanding and experience of managing multiple, complex client relationships
