Summary

We are seeking an experienced and versatile attorney to join our small but high-impact legal team. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in healthcare compliance and medical device manufacturing, marketing and sales, and be comfortable supporting a wide range of legal needs across a growing organization including support with negotiating and drafting contracts, reviewing promotional materials and assisting with litigation matters.

This is an impactful role that offers opportunities for professional growth and development. This role will report directly to the General Counsel.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Serve as a legal advisor to internal clients on healthcare compliance matters.
  • Provide legal support for medical device sales, marketing and commercialization.
  • Review and negotiate a variety of commercial contracts, including vendor, supplier, consulting, and distribution agreements.
  • Partner with Marketing and Regulatory teams to review promotional materials, advertising, and customer communications for legal risk and regulatory compliance.
  • Monitor and advise on relevant laws and regulatory developments affecting the medical device and healthcare sectors.
  • Support the development, implementation, and enhancement of company-wide compliance policies and training.
  • Assist the legal team in providing support across the business as needed, including matters involving privacy, intellectual property, and corporate governance.

Qualifications

  • J.D. from an accredited law school.
  • 4+ years of legal experience at a law firm.
  • Generalist with a legal background who possesses prior attorney experience.
  • Willingness to jump in with a bias towards action.
  • Possesses intellectual curiosity.
  • Maintains high integrity and a positive attitude.
  • Flexibility to manage a variety of assignments simultaneously.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
