Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Central Sterile Processing Supervisor to join our healthcare facility in Largo, United States. In this crucial role, you will oversee the sterilization and preparation of medical equipment and supplies, ensuring strict adherence to safety and quality standards.

  • Supervise and coordinate the daily operations of the central sterile processing department
  • Ensure proper sterilization and decontamination of medical instruments and equipment
  • Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure compliance with regulations
  • Train and mentor staff on sterilization techniques, safety protocols, and equipment operation
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate the ordering of supplies as needed
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to sterilization processes
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient workflow and timely delivery of sterilized items
  • Identify and address any issues or concerns related to sterilization processes and equipment


Qualifications

  • CRCST (Certified Registered Central Service Technician) – Required
  • CHL (Certified Healthcare Leader) – Recommended
  • High School Diploma or GED – Required
  • 3–5 Years of SPD Experience – Including at least 1–2 years in a lead or senior role.
  • Strong communication and coaching skills
  • Ability to lead by example and promote accountability
  • Skilled in conflict resolution and team motivation
  • Time management and prioritization under pressure
