Job Summary

Create Music Group is currently looking for a Label & Content Services Specialist to join our Distribution Department. This role is responsible for quality assurance in metadata delivered by labels and services as a project manager for our priority Label Engine clients. This is a full-time position based out of our Hollywood office.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary point of contact for a roster of priority Label Engine clients, which includes:
• Monthly calls to discuss priorities
• Providing client support
• Organization of label release schedules
• Collecting pitching/marketing information before deadlines
• Working with internal commercial and marketing teams on label campaigns
• Reviewing metadata on releases submitted by labels to ensure metadata quality insurance
• Working with DSPs through various communication channels to solve ingestion and delivery issues
• Daily review of releases submitted by Label Engine clients
• Back catalog ingestions
  

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in a high-level client services position
• Experience working with and/or deep knowledge of dance music labels and artists
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Understanding of DSPs (Spotify, SoundCloud, iTunes/Apple Music, Pandora, TikTok, YouTube, etc.)
• Knowledge of metadata style guidelines
• Can organize large amounts of data efficiently
• High attention to detail
• An expert in time management
• Previous label or distribution experience is a plus
• Bilingual in English & another language is beneficial but not required
  
  

Pay Scale

$22-$25/hr
