About The Role

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Accountant to join our Finance team! The Senior Accountant will oversee the financial operations of a key division within our organization. This role is responsible for financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, internal controls, and strategic analysis to support business decisions. The Senior Accountant will also present financial results to senior management. This position requires strong analytical skills, thorough knowledge of accounting principles, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.

What You'll Do

  • Lead a part of the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting
  • Develop and manage annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-range financial plans
  • Partner with leadership to analyze financial performance, identify trends, and support strategic initiatives
  • Provide input and analysis to Senior Management on financial aspects of projects and priorities
  • Serve as the primary financial liaison between the division and corporate finance
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP, corporate policies, and internal controls
  • Project financial tracking (if applicable)
  • Prepare financial presentations and key performance indicators (KPIs) for senior management
  • Support audits and work closely with external auditors and internal audit teams
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and lead implementation efforts

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Minimum of 5-8 years of progressive accounting experience
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting systems (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, etc.)
  • Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage, or similar) and Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Strong business acumen and ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders
