Key Responsibilities:
1. Domain Execution:
- Participate in central Data Execution Working Groups to align data definitions, models, controls, and quality rules across domains.
- Lead a team of data professionals to oversee the consistency of data provisioning and consumption to ensure accuracy and reliability in applications.
- Partner with Domain Owners and Report Owners to facilitate product-driven calculations and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Produce metrics and performance indicators for the data domain and present to respective governance councils and committees
- Sets priorities and objectives for all data within the domain, including initiatives to augment data health; drive data technology decisions, including investments, builds, and prioritizations, for cross-domain consistency.
2. Governance Oversight:
- Accountable for compliance with Enterprise data governance policies by maintaining an effectively designed and operating data control environment.
- Accountable for delivering timely, accurate and complete data for the data domain
- Provide ongoing oversight of data exceptions and collaborate with Data Managers and other Data Leads to manage discrepancies.
- Participate in governance councils to provide reporting on data domains, monitor execution activities, and oversee data concern closures.
- Support stakeholder engagement across enterprise-level and domain-level teams to ensure smooth data management operations.
- Coordinate execution and solutioning for end-to-end processes related to data concerns
- Oversee resourcing and strategic alignment of efforts to remediate Consent Orders to ensure seamless data integration and operational effectiveness.
3. Team Management
- Daily management of a team of data professionals; lead and guide in the execution and management of complex data uses cases while ensuring timely delivery and efficient resource allocation
- Oversee workload distribution, performance management and professional development; lead, mentor and develop talent, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation and continuous learning
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration by coordinating with stakeholder, ensuring effective communication and driving alignment between data strategy and business objectives.
Required Skills & Competencies:
- Strong expertise in data governance, data quality, and compliance frameworks.
- Experience in cross-functional collaboration with stakeholders across enterprise data teams.
- Proficiency in data management tools, analytics, and reporting systems.
- Ability to drive data execution strategies and support business objectives through data-driven insights.
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to craft effective briefing materials for non-technical audiences
- Familiarity with Capital Management, notably CCAR/DFAST Stress Testing and FR Y-14A regulatory reporting requirements
- Certifications in data management or related areas are an asset
