Position Summary

The Distribution Center Operations Manager will plan, organize, direct, control, and manage the daily activities of an assigned functional area within the Distribution Center. The Operations Manager will be responsible for, but not limited to:

What You Will Do

  • Plan, organize, schedule, forecast, and coordinate work in order to meet production schedules and operational goals.
  • Review/analyze production, quality, and other operational reports, initiating changes, as needed, to ensure a high level of service to store operations.
  • Develop and implement plans, procedures, programs, and strategies to enhance performance, service level, and cost-per-piece.
  • Prepare departmental budget and control expenditures against approved budget.
  • Administer policies/procedures in a fair and consistent manner. Professionally address issues with employees utilizing the proper resources.
  • Develop an accountable supervisory staff with an emphasis on team building, communication, performance accountability, and positive employee relation’s management.
  • Ensure maximum utilization of manpower and equipment.
  • Promote and reinforce safety and security awareness and compliance among the supervisory staff and hourly employee groups.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by the Senior Operations .
  • PLEASE NOTE: Must be available to work Monday-Friday. This is a 2nd shift role. Core hours are 4:00 pm to 12:30 am CST with additional flexibility required to work outside of this core time frame to support business needs ***

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of prior leadership/management experience in a distribution/manufacturing/retail environment.
  • 1+ years of warehouse management system (WMS) experience.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office experience with Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 7+ years of prior management experience in a distribution/manufacturing environment
  • Lean Six Sigma experience is a plus.
  • Labor Management System (LMS) experience

Education

  • Verifiable High School Diploma/GED

Pay Range

The Typical Pay Range For This Role Is

$66,330.00 - $145,860.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
