We do this by deeply understanding our customers’ business challenges, serving as their trusted partners and advocates, aligning our all-in-one product with their objectives, and consulting on best practices.
As the first Implementation Manager for our Commercial segment (startup, SMB, and MM companies with <2500 employees), you'll own the end-to-end implementation process for new Gem products, with a focus on Gem ATS and Gem Scheduling products. You will be the primary point of contact during customer onboarding, developing streamlined processes that ensure fast time-to-value and an exceptional customer experience. You will build, design, and execute the implementation and onboarding lifecycle for our startup, SMB, and mid-market companies. You'll play a critical role in delivering Gem's newest products, including Gem ATS and Gem Scheduling, to these high-growth customers.

What You’ll Do Day-to-Day
- Own Implementation and Onboarding: Plan and own the onboarding lifecycle (including migrations, integrations, training, and enablement) for startup, SMB, and MM companies who have purchased Gem ATS and Gem Scheduling
- Deliver fast time-to-value: Drive implementation and onboarding projects with urgency
- Drive Product Adoption: Develop deep product expertise to serve as a trusted resource for customers
- Solve Challenges: Identify and tackle any hurdles that come up during the implementation process, ensuring a flawless experience
- Build Relationships: Build strong relationships and influence various customer stakeholders, including Talent Leaders, Recruiting Operations, and Hiring Managers to successfully launch Gem's all-in-one platform
- Scale Training Programs: Create and run 1:few and 1:many sessions to drive product adoption
- Build Processes: Proactively create, experiment, and optimize processes, programs, and assets to enable the team to scale
- Partner Cross-functionally: Work with cross-functional partners including Customer Success, Product, Engineering, Solutions Consulting, and Sales to drive improvements
- 3+ years of experience implementing SaaS platforms, with demonstrated success working with startup and SMB companies
- Track record successfully leading implementations for ATS’s (Greenhouse, Lever, Workday, etc.) or similar talent acquisition technologies
- Strong detail-oriented approach and organizational skills to manage a high volume of concurrent implementations simultaneously
- Thrive in ambiguous environments, excel at tackling complex challenges, and enjoy rolling up your sleeves to build scalable processes from scratch
- Strong sense of initiative and ownership: Self-motivated with a bias for action, work autonomously, and can find solutions to challenges
- Technical aptitude with experience in data migrations and integrations management
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Leading implementations specifically tailored for startup and SMB companies, understanding their unique constraints and rapid growth needs
- Deep knowledge of ATS implementation best practices and talent acquisition workflows
- Understanding of the broader recruiting technology ecosystem and how Gem's solutions complement existing tools
- Experience partnering with Talent/Recruiting Operations teams to optimize their processes
