POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Head of HR is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing all aspects of Human Resources and general administration functions within the organization. This position will drive the development and execution of HR strategies, policies, and programs that align with business objectives and promote a positive work environment. The role requires deep expertise in HR best practices, labor laws, and industry trends, along with exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Strategic Leadership:
  • Develop and implement HR strategies to drive a culture of high employee engagement aligned with the organization's goals and objectives.
  • Initiate and facilitate organizational effectiveness development to ensure organizational success.
  • Provide input and guidance to the executive team on HR-related matters.
  • Talent Management:
  • Identify organizational talent needs to ensure right talents at the right place.
  • Design and implement professional development programs that align with organizational objectives.
  • Establish and oversee the performance management process to ensure effective goal setting and evaluations across departments.
  • Compensation and Benefits:
  • Lead the design and implementation of competitive compensation and benefits programs that attract and retain top talent.
  • Monitor industry trends and benchmarks to ensure the organization's offerings remain competitive.
  • Employee Relations:
  • Manage employee relations matters, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions.
  • Promote a positive work environment through employee engagement and communication initiatives.
  • Operational Excellence:
  • Establish and implement standardized processes and best practices to ensure operational consistency and knowledge sharing among the team.
  • Collaborate with leadership to calutivate a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
  • Utilize HR metrics and analytics to drive data-driven decision-making.
  • Prepare and present reports on key HR metrics to the executive team.
  • Ensure all policies and practices are compliant with local, state, and federal labor laws and regulations.
  • Stay updated on changes in labor laws and adjust policies and practices as necessary.
  • Team Management:
  • Lead and mentor a team of professionals, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented work environment.
  • Set clear expectations, provide ongoing guidance, and support the professional development of team members.

QUALIFICATION AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's preferred).
  • PHR/SPHR or SHRM-SCP certification is a plus.
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in a senior HR leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to build relationships at all organizational levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in HRIS (Human Resources Information System) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Bilingual in English and Mandarin is a plus
