Job Description
Under moderate supervision, executes medical supply management and distribution operations, encompassing comprehensive warehouse responsibilities and systematic delivery services to hospital departments.
- Executes systematic supply replenishment protocols: Conducts precise inventory counts, facilitates material requisition, and maintains established PAR levels across clinical care units. Coordinates linen supply cart rotation system.
- Implements material handling procedures: Executes proper packaging protocols for secure transport and delivery, utilizing appropriate equipment including flatbed carriers and specialized containers to ensure safe material transfer.
- Maintains warehouse operational excellence: Systematically processes incoming deliveries with precise placement protocols. Implements FIFO (First-In-First-Out) inventory management system. Maintains stringent organizational standards for shelf management and workspace cleanliness.
- Conducts rigorous quality control: Performs systematic inspections of clinical care stock areas, rooms, and warehouse facilities to ensure strict compliance with product expiration protocols. Implements comprehensive stock rotation procedures. Maintains stringent organizational and cleanliness standards across all storage facilities.
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Physical ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
- Knowledge of medical supplies and terminology
- One year of storeroom or warehouse experience
- Experience with barcode scanning and inventory tracking systems
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Effective communication skills for interdepartmental coordination
- Knowledge of infection control and sterile storage practices
- Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout shift
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed
- Basic mathematical skills for inventory counting
