Security Engineer - Microsoft Cloud App Security (MCAS)

Project: Migration from Palo Alto Prisma to Microsoft Cloud App Security (MCAS) Defender

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Security Engineer to lead the migration of our security infrastructure from Palo Alto Networks Prisma solution to Microsoft Cloud App Security (MCAS). The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring a seamless transition while maintaining or improving the current security and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Assessment and Planning:
Evaluate the current Prisma deployment, including configurations, policies, and integrations
Gather and define security and compliance requirements for MCAS
Conduct a gap analysis between Prisma and MCAS capabilities

Design and Architecture:
Develop a detailed design and architecture for MCAS deployment
Map existing Prisma policies to equivalent MCAS configurations

Configuration and Deployment:
Configure core settings in MCAS, including policies, alerts, and data connectors
Integrate MCAS with Microsoft Azure AD, Microsoft 365, and third-party applications
Migrate relevant configurations and data from Prisma to MCAS

Testing and Validation:
Conduct functional and performance testing to ensure system integrity and reliability
Lead user acceptance testing (UAT) with business stakeholders

Training and Documentation:
Deliver training sessions for administrators and end-users
Create detailed documentation including system configurations, policies, and user guides

Go-Live and Support:
Manage the go-live process with minimal business disruption
Provide post-migration support and resolve issues as needed

Qualifications:
Proven experience with security tools including Palo Alto Prisma and Microsoft Cloud App Security
Strong background in information security, compliance, and cloud architecture
Experience with Microsoft Azure AD, Microsoft 365, and related integration
Ability to lead complex technical projects independently
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
